Blogging?!? Me?!?

Well hello!  I find myself in a bit of flux lately.  Minor turmoil and a bit of a slump at the same time.  I guess I'm looking for something new.  For a long time I looked down my nose at blogging.  I saw it mostly as a silly online journal for people to rant or beg for attention.  I have, however, had a change of heart.  There are so many blogs that I really enjoy reading.  Regular people sharing ideas, pictures, recipes, travels.  I think perhaps I'll give it a try...
